Signal Recall

Terms of Service

Last updated 26 July 2026. Signal Recall is in private beta.

What the service does

Signal Recall finds likely duplicate contacts in your Google Contacts, helps you merge them, and helps you tidy phone numbers, names and other fields. Every change is one you choose and apply yourself.

This software changes and deletes your data

Read this part. Merging contacts deletes the duplicate records. Clean-up actions overwrite names and phone numbers. Deleting junk entries removes them from your Google account.

We take a backup snapshot before every change, and merges can be undone from inside the app. Those protections are real, and they are not a guarantee. You are responsible for keeping your own independent export of your contacts before you start. The app offers a full download on first sign-in for exactly this reason.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Signal Recall is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and we are not liable for lost, altered or deleted data, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding twelve months.

Your account

You need a Google account to use Signal Recall, and you must have the right to access the contacts you connect. You are responsible for what you do with other people's personal data in your address book, including under any privacy law that applies to you.

Acceptable use

Availability and beta status

The service is in private beta. It may be unavailable, may change, and may lose non-essential data such as caches. We will give reasonable notice before discontinuing it, and you can export your contacts at any time.

Price

Signal Recall is currently free while in private beta. If we introduce charges, we will say so before you are charged, and using the service after that point is what accepts the new terms.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from Configurations, which erases everything we hold. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
